(1) Under the State’s planning legislation, the Western Australian Planning Commission is a decision-making authority for local planning strategies, subdivision applications, and certain categories of development and leases. The legislation does not provide for the Minister’s involvement in these matters, so there are no instances where the Minister has amended decisions of the Commission.
