I refer to the Boab Estate residential development in Derby, and I ask: (a) when was the issue of sewerage connection delays first identified; (b) what is current status of progression of sewerage to the Boab Estate; (c) why has sewerage not been connected to the Boab Estate subdivision to date; and (d) when does the Minister expect this issue will be resolved?

(a) Discussions with the developer commenced in late 2011 following conditional subdivision approval from the Western Australian Planning Commission. In December 2013, the developer was advised that further planning was required to identify a suitable site for the wastewater pump station.
(b) The Water Corporation is currently progressing negotiations to gain access to the area of land needed to construct the wastewater pump station.
(c) The Water Corporation is currently progressing negotiations to gain access to the area of land needed to construct the wastewater pump station. A reticulated wastewater service will be made available to the Boab Estate when Water Corporation has constructed the wastewater pump station and the developer has constructed the sewers.
(d) The Water Corporation has funding available and is keen to progress the design and construction of the wastewater pump station during the 2014-15 financial year. However, until the site acquisition negotiations are concluded commitment to a completion date cannot be made.
