310. Hon DONNA FARAGHER to the Minister for Education and
Training:
I
refer to the minister's answer to question without notice 288, asked
yesterday, in which the minister stated, ''All schools delivering
qualifications that TAFE cannot auspice have been assisted to find alternative
private registered training organisations to partner with for the delivery of
these qualifications.''
(1) Will the minister provide more
detail on the actual assistance that has been provided to schools?
(2) Are any schools still seeking
an alternative private registered training organisation to partner with?
(3) If yes to (2), will the
minister list these schools and the relevant qualifications?
(4) Can the
minister confirm that the Department of Education will meet the costs for those
schools that are required to use an alternative provider to TAFE?
