Further to my question on the last day’s sitting concerning the budget allocation for the Western Australian Greyhound Racing Association, is the minister now in a position, having had time to investigate the matter, to advise - (i) why the authority’s chief executive officer apparently had no knowledge of an allocation; and (ii) from where the money for capital works is sourced? Hon N.D. GRIFFITHS

Following the question asked by the member yesterday, I attended my office this morning and made inquiries about what progress had been made in getting hold of a copy of the newspaper article. I still have not seen that article. I look forward to reading it. The member’s question was based on the content of that newspaper article. I have, however, re-read what is stated in the budget papers about WAGRA. My understanding of the position is as set out in the budget papers.
