NINGALOO MARINE PARK — OIL TANKER
Is the minister aware that an oil tanker, believed to be contracted by BP, was anchored inside the Ningaloo Marine Park on the Anzac Day weekend; is an oil tanker allowed to be anchored so close to a marine park, and how can this be prohibited? Hon DONNA FARAGHER

I think the honourable member for the question. I have to say that I am not aware of it. Obviously, very strict conditions apply with respect to any marine park, but I am happy to give an undertaking to the member that I will get back to her; I will follow this matter up with my department and provide her with any information I can.
