I thank the member for the question,
I also recognise the hard work and the advocacy of the local member for
Jandakot and I appreciate his support.

The SPEAKER :
Members!
Mr D.C. NALDER :
Previously we have talked about how this government looks at a fully integrated
public transport network and the additional work that it does. It does not deal
with only —
Several members interjected.
The SPEAKER :
Members! Member for Cockburn, have you finished?
Mr D.C. NALDER : We
will not only build a rail line, but also make sure that we build the stations.
We are not only building the stations, but also providing an additional six
feeder bus services for Aubin Grove. There will be not only that, but also a
pedestrian bridge will be built over both sides of the stations so that people
can access.
Several members interjected.
The SPEAKER :
Member for Cockburn, I call you to order for the first time. Member for Butler,
I call you for the first time. Member for Mirrabooka, I do not want to hear
you.
Mr D.C. NALDER :
Another thing we will do is add 2 000 car parking bays. Look at what we have
had to do. We have had to retrofit car parking bays right across the public

Ms R. Saffioti interjected.
The SPEAKER :
Member for West Swan, I call you to order for the first time. I am up and down
here like a yoyo!
Mr D.C. NALDER : We
have identified a need to further enhance this project and make sure it is easier
for the people of Aubin Grove and the surrounding suburbs to access the
station, so we will widen the bridge to ensure that there is a facilitation of
traffic, whether it be bus or car, so people can access this station.
Several members interjected.
The SPEAKER :
Members!
Mr D.C. NALDER : I
find it amusing that the opposition challenges us on what we are doing, but we
are not only doing car bays, a train station, the widening of the bridge —
Mr W.J. Johnston interjected.
The SPEAKER :
Member for Cannington, I call you to order for the first time.
Mr D.C. NALDER : We
are also enhancing the cycling facilities and the connecting parts into the
train stations. This is now a $105 million project that will commence in the
middle of this year and will be completed by early 2017.
Mr W.J. Johnston interjected.

fantastic project.
