IRON ORE MINING — PRODUCTION LEVY
758. Mr B.S. WYATT to the Treasurer:
I have a supplementary question. Are
there any other revenue sources the government is looking to bring forward from
future generations of taxpayers to get the government out of the financial mess
it has created?

AnswerView source ↗

The member is jumping to conclusions
about bringing forward and losing money.
Mr
B.S. Wyatt : I quoted the Premier then, that's right—''bring
forward the revenue''.
Dr
M.D. NAHAN : No, no, no—the member is jumping to conclusions upon
which there is no basis.
Mr
B.S. Wyatt interjected.
The
SPEAKER : Member for Victoria Park!
Dr
M.D. NAHAN : There is no basis for it at all.
Mr
B.S. Wyatt : That is what the Premier said.
Dr
M.D. NAHAN : The member's question was wrong. We have no intention
of bringing forward money that we lose out on—none.
Mr
B.S. Wyatt : It is exactly what you're doing.
Dr
M.D. NAHAN : No, we are not.
Mr
B.S. Wyatt : It is exactly what you're doing.
Dr
M.D. NAHAN : Just because the member makes an accusation does not make it
true. In fact, the assumption should be it is wrong!
