LINE PROGRAM — ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AUTHORITY INFORMATION REQUEST
286. Hon LYNN MacLAREN to the
minister representing the Minister for Environment:
I refer to the government's ''Guidelines for
Taking Sharks Posing a Serious Threat to Public Safety'', which I referred
to the Environmental Protection Authority on 9 January 2015.
(1) I
understand that the EPA is seeking further information in relation to my
referral. Please list the organisations from which the EPA has sought further
information.
(2) Please list the organisations
from which the EPA is still seeking information.

I thank the member for some notice of this question. The
Minister for Environment has provided this response —
(1) The
Environmental Protection Authority has advised that it sought further information
about the referral from the director general of the Department of the Premier
and Cabinet, on behalf of the state of Western Australia. The information
requested by the Environmental Protection Authority from the Department of
Premier and Cabinet has been received.
(2) The Environmental Protection Authority is not seeking
further information from other organisations.
