I refer to Question on Notice 619, and I ask: (a) Can the Minister explain her inability to provide relevant documents showing agreement between the government and the rail lease holder to close the lines listed in the Minister's answer; (b) Will the Minister table pertinent documents showing the agreement for the line closures, and if not, why not; and (c) Did either CBH or the rail lease holder object to the line closures?

(a)-(c) I am advised that the then-Minister for Transport wrote to WestNet Rail on 4 December 2009 agreeing to the cessation of operations on particular rail lines.
As this letter is a document of the previous Government, it would not be appropriate to table it unless the Leader of the Liberal Party approves.
