TOBACCO COMPANY DONATIONS — STATE LIBERAL PARTY
I have a supplementary question. I find the Premier’s answer confusing as this donation was to the WA branch of the Liberal Party. Is the Premier saying that that is okay because Mr Abbott authorised that? It is contrary to the Premier’s policy, but the Premier cannot control the WA branch of the Liberal Party—is that what the Premier is saying? Mr C.J. BARNETT

I was saying that where I can have a say is on donations to campaigns, and for campaigns by the state Liberal Party, we do not accept donations from tobacco companies.
