Minister for Police:
I refer to the public release on 7 September
2024 of information on 19 offenders who were the subject of return to prison
warrants.
(1) How many of the 19 offenders
remain at large?
(2) What is the total number of
return to prison warrants currently outstanding?
(3) Further to (1) and (2), what is
the name, age, sex and nature of the crimes of these offenders?

The Western Australia Police Force
has provided the following advice.
(1) It is 18.
(2) It is 37.
(3) Western Australia
Police Force has listed the details of the 18 historical return to prison
warrants on the Crime Stoppers website. For the benefit of the honourable
member, I table the list. The WA Police Force has assessed various
considerations and determined that the further public release of information is
not necessary at this time due to operational and privacy concerns, ensuring
that investigative processes are not compromised.
