I thank the
honourable member for some notice of this question.
The Department of
Housing advises the following —
(1) The
Department of Housing does not keep statistics based on Legislative Assembly
electorates. The Belmont electorate falls within the department's South
East Metropolitan administrative region. From March 2013 to February 2014, 86
tenancies have been evicted from public housing in the department's
South East Metropolitan region.
(2) The
Department of Housing does not keep information that could readily provide
answers to this question.
(3) The
department has a memorandum of understanding and works closely with the
Department for Child Protection and Family Support in relation to families that
are at risk of termination.
