(a)   Business cases completed and design commenced.
(b)   There is no wait list for those requiring dialysis.  Patients may nominate a preferred location for treatment.  Where a patient’s preference cannot be accommodated immediately, patients will continue to receive treatment at an alternate site until their preference can be met.
(c)   Culturally appropriate design principles and recognition of varying custom requirements for Aboriginal people are incorporated into the design of the expanded renal dialysis unit. Geraldton Health Campus currently employs Aboriginal Liaison Officers that support Aboriginal patients and families across all hospital departments.
(d)   The recruitment process will apply section 51 of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 to increase employment opportunities for Aboriginal people.
