836. Ms MacTIERNAN to the Minister representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer to the proposed heavy haulage route to be developed along Dewars Pool Road near Toodyay and ask -
(a) is the Minister aware that Brown and Root held a public meeting in Toodyay on 9 September 2000 having advertised the meeting less than 9 days prior in a small advertisement in a provincial newspaper;
(b) is the Minister aware that not enough forms were made available for public comment at this meeting;
(c) is the Minister aware that public submissions were closed one working day after the public meeting;
(d) is the Minister aware that the information display was made available to the public in a locked building; and
(e) is the Minister aware that some of the major stakeholders to the report, such as the ARMA, are not being consulted?
