(1) For each custodial facility, how many drug seizures have occurred in the financial years 2021–22, 2022–23, 2023–24, 2024–25 and 2025–26 year-to-date, broken down by: (a) type of drug (methamphetamine, cannabis, opioids, prescription medication, other); and (b) method of entry (e.g. mail, visitor, drone, staff smuggling, thrown over perimeter)? (2) For each of the same years, how many prisoners returned a positive result in drug testing, broken down by: (a) facility; and (b) type of drug detected? (3) How many staff members have been subject to disciplinary action or termination for drug-related matters since 2021–22, by financial year? (4) Of those, how many related to: (a) attempted introduction of drugs; (b) possession or use within facilities; and (c) failure of a drug test? (5) What measures are currently in place across facilities to detect and deter drug smuggling, including but not limited to body scanners, mail screening, perimeter patrols, intelligence-led searches, and random staff and prisoner testing? (6) What has been the total budget allocation for drug detection, testing, and prevention initiatives within Corrective Services in each of the financial years 2021–22, 2022–23, 2023–24, and 2024–25? (7) Has the Department conducted any reviews into the prevalence of drug use in custodial facilities since 2021–22?

Compiling this information would demand diverting staff away from their operational duties and as a consequence, it is not considered to be a reasonable or appropriate use of resources. I note the Member asked 17 different questions of similar nature in length concurrently.
