(1) Can the minister confirm Synergy is currently
using an SAP billing system?
(2) Does Synergy outsource the
programming and maintenance of its billing system?
(3) If yes to (2), where is the
programming and maintenance support performed and by whom?
(4) Are any customised programming
or maintenance activities specific to Synergy's SAP billing system performed
outside of Australia, and, if so, where?

been provided by the Minister for Energy and Decarbonisation.
(1) Yes.
(2) The management of the billing system is a
responsibility of Synergy. Programming and maintenance of the system is
outsourced.
(3)–(4) Infosys is
contracted to provide these services. The services are provided from Australia
and India.
