416. Hon LYNN MacLAREN to the parliamentary secretary
representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer to Main Roads WA's
weed management program.
(1) When have
there been applications of adjusted herbicide comprising glyphosate and
metsulfuron methyl along roadsides near Williams where herbicide-tolerant
canola occurs?
(2) What monitoring of the
suitability of this herbicide has been done?
(3) When will the results of the
monitoring be available?
(4) What further applications of the
adjusted herbicide are scheduled to take place?
(5) What measures
will Main Roads take as the frequency of genetically modified canola along
roadsides increases?
