(a) and (b) Out of a total of 35,232 (28,164 FTE) staff across all disciplines for the whole of the Department of Health 4,069 (3,389 FTE) or 1.15% were employed at Western Australian public hospitals as General Administration and Clerical staff as at December 2007.
