State government projects—Industrial
relations
575. Hon Tjorn Sibma to
the minister representing the Minister for Industrial
Relations:
This question is
dated Wednesday 13 August. I refer to so-called best practice industrial
relations principles (BPIR) or best practice industry principles (BPIC) that
are being trialled on two Main Roads WA projects.
(1) Is the minister aware of any work currently
undertaken or facilitated by the department that contemplates expanding the
application of BPIR or BPIC across other state government construction
projects?
(2) Has the minister or her officials been party
to any discussion that has contemplated the expansion of BPIR or BPIC across
other state government projects?
(3) Has the minister received any representations
to expand the application of BPIR or BPIC; and, if so, who made the
representations?
