The Premier avoids providing a direct answer to the question about airfare costs between Canberra and Perth, instead referring the questioner to publicly available quarterly travel reports. This suggests a lack of immediate transparency.

Information relating to agency travel can be found in quarterly reports titled "Interstate and Overseas Travel Undertaken by Ministers, Members of Parliament and Officers on Official Business", tabled in Parliament every quarter as part of this Government's ongoing commitment to accountability and transparency.
The most recent report, for the three months ended 31 March 2013, was tabled in the Legislative Assembly (see tabled paper no 1256) and Legislative Council (see tabled paper no 1094) on 5 December 2013.
These travel reports are also publicly available on the Department of the Premier and Cabinet website.
