I thank the member for the question. I really want to acknowledge the work that the member for Kimberley has done on this project. I will say a little more about that later. I am extremely pleased to give the house some good news. We have just this week authorised $6.1 million worth of contracts that will finally result in the complete sealing of this road - a local government road, not a state government road - from Beagle Bay to Cape Leveque. It was a project that we committed to in opposition, and we will have it completed by the end of the dry season. It is very good news for those communities in that area and a great contribution by the state government to those important communities. Notwithstanding various requests from the Shire of Broome, the federal government has not at this point made any sensible contribution. I will use this opportunity to point out what the member for Kimberley has done. Again, there are issues on the Dampier peninsula about whether we should now seal the road between Beagle Bay and Broome. Some people in the community would like to see that; others are very fearful of what the consequences of doing that would be in opening up those communities to probably 2 000 tourists a day. The member for Kimberley is chairing a task force on that for us to work with all those Aboriginal communities up and down the Dampier peninsula to work out how we can protect those communities but give them the level of access that they need. I thank the member for Kimberley for her excellent work in that regard.
