FREMANTLE PORTS — PRIVATISATION
464. Ms S.F. McGURK to the Minister for
Transport:
I am not sure any elements of my
question were answered, but I have a supplementary question. How much will
costs on importers and exporters increase if Fremantle port is privatised?

AnswerView source ↗

That is like asking what the lottery
numbers will be this week; I do not know.
Mr
D.J. Kelly interjected.
The
SPEAKER : Member for Bassendean, I call you to order for the first time.
Mr
D.C. NALDER : I am sure the member for Bassendean is more financially
literate than what he is expressing at this point in time, because I will tell
members what, he has no idea.
Several members interjected.
The
SPEAKER : Let us move on.
Mr
D.C. NALDER : We are a responsible government and I will tell members what,
this government is getting on, doing things and making things happen. We do not
hide around and do nothing for two terms, as occurred at the beginning of this
century, which is what we witnessed from a Labor government in this state. We
are actually making things happen, but we are being upfront and telling people
about them. We have work to do and will get on with that work.
