Some notice of this question has been given. In relation to the Bunbury palliative care service, which was recently put out to tender by the Health Department, I ask - (1) Will the Attorney General table - (a) the names of the organisations which applied to take over the service; and (b) the names of the people on the panel who will make a decision on the future of the service? (2) Have all applicants had access to the panel to present their case? (3) Has a decision been made on who will supply the service; if so, who is the successful tenderer? (4) If no to (3), when will a decision be made? (5) Have the current staff of the Bunbury palliative care service been giving assurances that their employment will continue under similar wages and conditions; if so, was it in writing? Hon PETER FOSS
