MINISTER FOR PLANNING AND INFRASTRUCTURE - RESPONSES TO QUESTIONS
I will not repeat the comment that the Leader of the House made a moment ago about question time and answer time, but it relates to the question I am about to ask him. By way of preamble, a number of members on this side of the house, including me, have asked questions of the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure. Consistently and regularly, a little note is handed to us just before question time that says, “Apologies again. Minister has not provided a response in time for today.” This has become a very regular habit from this minister, who has certain similarities to previous ministers with a similar attitude towards this house. Will the Leader of the House please inform the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure that we do not appreciate the questions that we ask being ignored and ask her to stop treating this house with contempt? Hon KIM CHANCE
