(a) The companies invited to bid for the lease of the Albany Septage Facility were:

Great Southern Liquid Waste
Cleanaway
Western Resource Recovery
SITA
Tox Free
(b) The selection criteria were:
Financial capability
Occupational Safety and Health
Quality Management System
Environmental Management System
Lease fee offered
(c) The companies invited to bid were selected from the Internet and Yellow Pages advertising and identified as being active liquid waste collection operators in Albany and Perth. This is in accordance with the Corporation's established policy to seek prices from a representative sample of the market.
(d) The decision to go to select tender was a joint decision between the City of Albany and the Water Corporation, who are partners in the Albany Septage Plant. The list of select bidders was prepared by the Corporation and endorsed by the City of Albany.
