SOLAR FEED-IN TARIFF SCHEME
422. Mr B.S. WYATT to the Treasurer:
I have a supplementary question. Now
that the Treasurer has said that the feed-in tariff decision that he
backflipped on was a relatively insignificant part of the fiscal action plan, I
refer to his comments on Monday, just an hour and a half before that backflip,
when he said —
the Budget decisions have been made
and we are now moving on and focusing on implementing them
How can we believe anything the
Treasurer says is contained in the FA plan?

The member for Victoria Park will
believe it when the legislation comes into this house at the back end of this
year, and we will believe it when we see where he sits. We will understand it
when we see who runs the Labor Party in Western Australia.
Several members interjected.
The
SPEAKER : Member for Victoria Park!
Mr
T.R. BUSWELL : Who runs the Labor Party? Will it be the voice of the
fiscally responsible parliamentary members or will it be the string pullers in
the union movement who will tell them how they have to vote?
