(1) Swan TAFE has advised that the claim was received at Swan TAFE from Mr Steele Patterson, Kurt Patterson's father, on 7 August 2009 and was processed for payment along with other Travel and Accommodation Allowance claims by the Department on 28 August 2009.
(2) Mr Kurt Patterson had inadvertently supplied incorrect bank account details on the claim form resulting in the bank rejecting the first electronic transfer request; however Mr Kurt Patterson received payment on 7 September 2009, within two working days of supplying the correct banking details.
(3) The Department has been in contact with Mr Steele Patterson to explore alternative training location options and is arranging for his son, Kurt to be transferred to Central West TAFE to continue his studies where suitable on-site student accommodation is available.
