Minister for Transport:
I refer to paper 3014 tabled
alongside the answer to my question without notice 174 on 14 March 2024
regarding the disabling of devices that had been collecting data from road
users in breach of the Surveillance Devices Regulations 1999.
(1) Which bill was the officer to
discuss with Minister Ellery's staff?
(2) Did this discussion occur?
(3) If no to (2), why not?
(4) Did the officer inform the
minister of the outcome of that discussion?
(5) If yes to (2) or (4), when did
this happen?
