140 WILLIAM STREET - TENDER EVALUATION REPORT
I refer the Premier to his reply to question without notice 1126. (1) Does the Premier’s reply mean that the government does not adhere to principles and practices of open, transparent and accountable government that can only be met by full disclosure of information to Parliament and the public? (2) If not, will the Premier explain by what means can Parliament hold government accountable for its decisions, such as the 140 William Street deal, if government refuses to release information concerning the process by which the successful bidder for the land was chosen; for example, the basis for the government’s decision to lease significant office space in a new development and the details of the lease agreement? Hon KIM CHANCE
