The Department of Housing and Works advises:
(a) The repairs to the roof were commenced on 6 May 2007.
(b) The repairs to the roof were completed on 6 May 2007. The tenant has not reported any additional leaks despite heavy rain between May and September. An inspection of the roof and inside the ceiling cavity on 5 September 2007 revealed no water penetration at all.
(c) The plumber replaced the taps on 5 September 2007.
(d) The bubbled paint in the rear bedroom is considered to be minor. This will be reviewed when the annual inspection for the property is due.
(e-f) The stumps were inspected in April 2007 and found to be sound. A further inspection on 5 September revealed that there is no damage to external perimeter stumps that requires repairing. There are two stumps under the passage/bedroom doorway that need jacking and levelling, which is being arranged.
