Minister for Education:
I refer to the
safety of teachers and staff in WA public schools.
(1) How many incidents of assault or
threatening physical aggression against Department of Education employees were
reported in WA public schools in 2025?
(2) Of those incidents, how many were
reported to police?
(3) Of those incidents, how many required
the employee to receive medical assistance or take personal leave?
(4) Can the minister guarantee she is
providing teachers and school staff with a safe workplace?

behaviour in schools. This data cannot be provided in the short timeframe
