❓ This Question on Notice concerns the proposed Ellenbrook Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system, specifically regarding land vesting, noise impact assessments, and the road's location within the reserve. The response provides updates on these aspects, indicating that the reserve hasn't been vested, noise modelling has been conducted, and the road will primarily be within the transit corridor.

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1) No.
(2) Sound and
vibration modelling has been carried out in six locations along the proposed
route to establish baseline data. Due to the low volume of bus movements and
the free-flowing nature of these movements, it is unlikely that noise walls
will be warranted. However, they will be considered on a case-by-case basis if
any increases in noise levels exceed the specified noise limits.
(3) The road will
sit primarily within the land required for the transit corridor—public
purposes—within the metropolitan region scheme.
