CHILD AND ADOLESCENT
HEALTH SERVICE — CHILD DEVELOPMENT SERVICE
1185. Hon DONNA FARAGHER to the Leader of the House
representing the Minister for Health:
I refer to the statement by the
former chief executive of the Child and Adolescent Health Service, Dr Aresh
Anwar, during the 2022–23 budget estimates hearings in the Legislative
Council on 21 June 2022 that —
We anticipate trying to put another
submission into government for the midyear review in order to see whether there
needs to be a further enhancement to the CD —
Child development —
service through budgetary support.
(1) Can the
minister confirm whether the Child and Adolescent Health Service has provided a
submission to the Department of Health as outlined in Dr Anwar's
statement?
(2) If yes to (1), when was it
submitted to the department?
(3) If no to (1), does CAHS still
intend to put forward a submission ahead of the midyear review?
