representing the Minister for Corrective Services:
It is my turn!
(1) Has it been accepted practice that the minimum
security Wooroloo Prison Farm does not hold sex offenders?
(2) Has Wooroloo
Prison Farm recently been requested to receive sex offenders by the Adult Male
Prisons Directorate?
(3) If yes to
(2), why has there been a shift in the policy to place sex offenders in
Wooroloo Prison Farm?

the question. The following answer has been provided to me by the Minister for
Corrective Services.
(1)–(3) The Department of Justice will not be placing
prisoners serving sentences for sexual offences at Wooroloo Prison Farm.
