I refer to the Premier’s statement to the Western Australian Parliament on 12 September 2013 that in 2014 there will be one teacher for every 13.53 students, and I ask: (a) do the Department’s calculations confirm the accuracy of this statement; (b) if no in response to (a) what figure does the Department have; (c) where were the figures for the Department’s calculations sourced; (d) what formulae was used to calculate this figure; and (e) using the same methodology used above, how many teachers were there per student for each of the years from 2008 to 2013?
