I thank the member for some notice of this question. The Minister for Police and Emergency Services provides the following response - The Police Service advises - (1) Six. (2) No. At a briefing, followed by the issue of an addendum, all prospective tenderers were advised of the expected value of the tender and that all tenders received were declined as they had exceeded this amount. The contract was subsequently retendered and a contract awarded. (3) Not applicable.
