RECYCLING FACILITIES — FIRE RISK ASSESSMENT

I thank the member for some notice of this question. (1)-(3) No. The Fire and Emergency Services Authority assesses the fire risk of premises. However, it should be noted that the Department of Environment and Conservation assesses the environmental risk. DEC inspects high-risk facilities, some of which are licensed under the Environmental Protection Act 1986, for environmental risks at least once a year.
