In 2018, the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) developed an evidence-based risk measure in consultation with all jurisdictions. This tool supports Western Australia’s regulatory decision-making and considers factors such as quality ratings, compliance history, confirmed breaches, service type, and location.
