PUBLIC TRANSPORT AUTHORITY REPORT
168. Hon KEN TRAVERS to the parliamentary secretary
representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer to advice provided by the Public Transport Authority
to assist the minister in answering question without notice 139 regarding the
investigation into the dewirement of the overhead wire between Warwick and
Stirling train stations.
(1) Did the PTA advice indicate that the report could be
tabled?
(2) If yes to (1), why did the minister not accept its
advice?
(3) If no to (1), what reasons did it provide for denying
Parliament this document?

without notice 139 was asked of the Minister for Transport. To assist in the
preparation of the answer, the relevant agency was contacted for input, as is
standard practice.
