(a)       The exact number are unknown;
(b)       The Minister, through the Department of Lands, has consulted on this matter with various stakeholders including the Department of Aboriginal Affairs, Department of Housing, Regional Services Reform Unit at the Department of Regional Development, Department of Planning, Department of Premier and Cabinet and the Shire of Halls Creek;
(c)        The Minister has not met with the above stakeholders, however the Department of Lands convened a meeting on the 26 July 2016 with officers from the Department of Aboriginal Affairs, Department of Regional Development, Department of Planning, Department of Child Protection and Family Support and the Housing Authority to progress this matter;
(d)       The broader planning process is being driven by the Shire of Halls Creek and as such this question should be referred to the Minister for Local Government;
(e)       29 February 2016;
(f)        Any questions regarding the Aboriginal Affairs Coordinating Committee should be directed to the Minister for Aboriginal Affairs;
(g)       See answer to question F;
(h)       No; and
(i)         Consultation with the Shire of Halls Creek, Kimberley Land Council and the Aboriginal Affairs Coordinating Committee is required before any decisions are made regarding granting any tenure over the land. I recognise that this issue needs a whole of government approach.
