GREG EVANS
— QUADRIPLEGIC CENTRE OF WA
153. Mr R.H. COOK to the
Treasurer:
I have a supplementary question. Is the Treasurer saying that
despite the Minister for Health saying today that he would not allow his family
to go to that facility, the Department of Health, which he controls, has not
made it a priority?

AnswerView source ↗

No family would want their children or relatives to have to
go to that place. The place is run-down and it has been for decades. It is a
facility that needs to be rebuilt, and we are in the process of planning that.
The argument that I as Treasurer or the Treasury have purposely put it as a low
priority is just bunkum.
