Yesterday, a number of answers that I had signed off were put
in another minister's file. Again, I have signed off on this one, and I
am about to receive it from the Attorney General.
I thank the member
for some notice of the question.
(1) A new property was purchased by the
Department of Housing in October 2013 for use as a women's refuge in
Busselton.
Hon Sally Talbot : That's not the question.
Hon HELEN MORTON : Is it 1041?
Hon Sally Talbot : You're not answering the question I
asked you.
Hon HELEN MORTON : To continue —
(2) No; the former
site is owned by the Department of Housing —
Several members
interjected.
The PRESIDENT : Order! Can we
get clarification from the questioner on what number question it was?
Hon Sally Talbot : It is the answer the minister has chosen to
give, but it is not the answer to my question.
Hon HELEN MORTON : I was part way through answering the
question. Unfortunately, members opposite do not want to hear the answer, but I
will provide it anyway. The answer is —
(1) A new property was purchased by the
Department of Housing in October 2013 for use as a women's refuge in
Busselton.
(2) No; the former site is owned by the
Department of Housing and any future use of the site will be determined by the
Department of Housing.
(3) Not applicable.
