I ask a supplementary question. Why has the minister given up on country motorists? Mr KOBELKE

The Leader of the National Party gave up on country motorists back in 1993. The Gallop Government has not, and will not, give up on country motorists, and it will win for the benefit of the member for Avon’s constituents. Again, as those constituents witnessed with the coalition’s backdown on uniform electricity tariffs, and fuel prices, and as they saw with the backflip on the gold tax, it is up to a Labor government to deliver to the member for Avon’s constituents where his National Party failed.
