(1) Can the minister advise whether there are plans to close either the Bayswater or Inglewood Police Stations? (2) If yes, when are these stations scheduled to close? (3) Where will the officers currently located at these stations be transferred to? Hon PETER COLLIER

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question. On behalf of the Minister for Police, I provide the following response — (1) Inglewood Police Station is scheduled to be closed. There are currently no plans to close Bayswater Police Station. (2) Inglewood Police Station is scheduled to close in April 2009. (3) Officers from the Inglewood Police Station will be deployed to Bayswater and Morley Police Stations.
