the Minister for Science and Innovation:
I refer to the answer to question without notice 23.
(1) Given it
has been a year since cabinet approved the preparation of drafting instructions
for the bioprospecting bill, have the drafting instructions been completed?
(2) If no to
(1), does the government intend to complete this work and does it intend to
introduce this bill into Parliament this year; and, if so, when?
(3) If yes to
(1), when were the drafting instructions completed, when will the bill be
introduced into Parliament and what are the reasons for the delay in
introducing this bill to Parliament?

currently being finalised.
(2) Yes. The legislation will be introduced in accordance
with government legislation priorities.
