I refer to the Public Transport Authroity Area C site Forrestfield on 777 Abernethy Road, Forrestfield which was identified as part of the Governments Land Sales package, of which the Minister has carriage, and I ask: (a) when was this site last valued and at what price was it valued; (b) what is this site’s current zoning; (c) have contamination issues been identified for this site and, if so, what are they; (d) if no to (c), will the land be tested for contamination prior to sale and if not why not; and (e) are there any other identified factors which would affect the remediation of this site and if so, what are they?

(a) As part of the sales process valuation advice is sought from the Valuer General. However, to ensure the State receives the best commercial return for the sale of land based on market demand; this information will be kept confidential as this will likely influence buying behaviour.
(b) The site is zoned "Industrial" under the Metropolitan Region Scheme and "Local Open Space & General Industrial" under the Shire of  Kalamunda Town Planning Scheme.
(c) The site was classified as "Remediated for restricted use" effective 4/2/2013 - contamination issues related to ground water and asbestos presence from previous uses.
(d) N/A.
(e) Portions of the site are currently utilised as a depot/laydown area for  the Gateway project.
