I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question. The following answer has been provided by the
Minister for Police.
(1)–(4) The
Commissioner of Police is in frequent contact, providing information on an
array of issues pertinent to my role as the Minister for Police that are
confidential and sensitive in nature. As this incident remains a n ongoing investigation by the Western Australia
Police Force, it would not be appropriate, as Minister for Police, for
me to comment or provide detail on the matter.
