I refer to the Western Australia Police Firearms Licensing and Registration (L&R) system, and I ask: (a) for each year from 2012-13 to 2022-23, what was the average turnaround time for each firearm license category, including original issue, renewal, and additional firearms applications; and (b) to date, what has been the total allocation of funds for the development, implementation and maintenance of the L&R system?

(a) The Western Australia Police Force cannot provide a response to this question as the Firearm Licensing & Registration System has limited reporting capabilities and therefore, the WA Police Force are unable to provide statistics on turnaround times.
