SCHOOL BUSES — B AND C CLASS
How many B and C-class school buses on composite rate model contracts and standard rate model contracts with the Public Transport Authority have had their life extended beyond the contract period of 15 years? Hon SIMON O’BRIEN

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the member for some notice of this question. Currently, 12 out of 344 of the Public Transport Authority’s B and C-class school buses have exceeded the 15-year contract life. The authority is waiting for the affected contractors to receive their new vehicles from bus suppliers—vehicles that are currently under construction or delivery. One bus contract has been extended by 12 months as a review of service requirements may require the bus size to be increased.
