I ask this question on behalf of Hon Peter Foss. (1) Have any programs which are specifically directed at addressing the over-representation of Aboriginals in the justice system or which are for the benefit of Aboriginal offenders been abridged, curtailed or removed as part of arriving at the budget before Parliament, or for any out years? (2) If so - (a) what are they; (b) what is the amount of cut or amount deleted; (c) what will be the effect on that program? (3) Have any new programs been introduced for either of these purposes?
